I promise I will update this more!
I've been uber busy with FMP etc. but term is over now so expect many more posts. Also I tend to update my tumblr and twitter more as I prefer the interface when I'm in a rush. Anyway, here are some illustrations I just did for the lovely Amelia's Magazine.

Things
Ah I've been so busy with working and uni that I've neglected this space a bit. I'm still trying to get to grips with it! I'm working on another Sylvia Plath project and making my own pigments for some woodcut prints, for which I visited L Cornelissen & Son, off Tottenham Court Road. Didn't get a chance to take any photos but will get on that when I go back there tomorrow. I also visited the Golden Mile in Leicester, which is the best street in the UK for Indian food and textiles but it happens to be on a main road. Leicester's not an obviously beautiful place but I find its mix of old, butt ugly and downright weird architecture very charming and somewhat inspiring...

last term's print project: borders
this screenprint is about the history of the land made up of Israel and Palestine. this term our print project is about cheering England up and I'm thinking about worry around the world and how to help people to relate to other people from other cultures to bring themselves out of their own bubble of dissatisfaction.
